Kabete: Muo Kasina

Muo Kasina is a Principal Researcher and has PhD in field entomology. He does research on insects, both useful and harmful to crops. Currently, most of his work is on the aspects of pollination, focusing on bees as crop pollinators and source of income through hive products. In addition, he has a focused research on pest management using biotechnology approaches. His research focuses to mentor young scientists (fellows, MSc and PhD students from different Universities in Kenya). His research outputs is disseminated through peer reviewed journal articles, peer reviewed conference papers, seminars, workshops, articles in local dailies as well as books.
