Sale of indigenous chicken at KARI Naivasha |
The poultry unit at KARI Naivasha sells various classes of indigenous chicks to interested customers at various prices based on age as detailed below:-
1. One day-old @ Kshs. 60.00 each
2. Four week-old @ Kshs. 120.00 each
3. Eight week old @ Kshs. 180.00 each
4. Breeding cocks @ Kshs. 600.00 each
NOTE:
(i) Interested customers are required to make a non refundable commitment fee of 25% of the total chicken ordered
(ii) Customers are required to clear the balance of 75% on or before collection of the chicks
(iii) Sales are subject to availability.
(iv) Prices are subject to change without further reference to the customer
(v) Cheque/cash are payable to:-

(vi) Failure to collect the chicks within the stipulated time will attract a 15% penalty per day
(vii) We can only take order of 50 chicks and above.
