The KARI Board of Management visits KARI Katumani on 27-28 April 2011

The Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) Board of Management made an extensive tour of KARI-Katumani and, its satellite station at Kiboko on 27 and 28, April 2011. It was the first visit for most of them in their capacity as Board members, including the Chairman Prof ole-MoiYoi who also doubles as the Vice Chancellor of Kenyatta University. The visit offered an opportunity for the Board to acquaint themselves with activities at Katumani. It also offered an opportunity for Katumani to showcase most of the technologies it has developed in partnership with farmers, other research institutions, universities and service providers, mainly for the drylands.
