Milton Kengo Danda
An Agricultural Economist with over 10 years research experience along side a strong statistical/biometric background. Worked with various teams providing both socio-economic and biometric inputs. Such teams include the Netherlands funded Regional Research Support Programme, The CIMMYT funded maize research work, Taita-Taveta Agricultural Programme funded by DANIDA, the Rockefeller Soil and Water Management Programme and the IDA funded crosscutting programmes. I have worked extensively within the coastal region and have handled various types of data including student thesis data both at Masters (MSc.) and Doctorate (PhD.) levels. My work profiles have made me interact with various working groups and personnel that include Government ministries staff, Non-Governmental Organisations, International Organisations and Private partners. This interaction has also made me enjoy and learn the cross-sectional expertise in various research and development concerns particularly socio-economic based. My future focus is to concentrate on policy research, risk modelling and community based welfare economic issues. [more...]
