Summary
In terms of research outputs in the last five years (from 2006 to April 2012), 8 innovations were developed and 3 others initiated; 32 information packages produced; 12 journal papers published and 18 more are upcoming; more than 51 papers presented in national, regionnal and international conferences; 4 technical briefs and 5 brochures published; 36 brochures, 4 training curriculum, 5 training manuals, 5 posters drafted; 30 technical reports produced, 430 dissemination agents from government ministries, NGOs, CBOs capacity build and about 5,000 pastoralists/farmers reached with different agricultural technologies and information in the last one year, 10 members of staff underwent long term training at diploma to PhD level, 32 short courses and workshops have been attended by the Centre staff.
