The objective is to develop and disseminate technologies to improve the production capacity of the available soil and water resources.

Achievements
•    Eight low-cost soil fertility management technologies developed and disseminated in the mandate region.
•    Sensitized farmers on soil management strategies.
•    Effective technology dissemination channels (Farmer Field Schools - (FFS) identified as suitable for soil fertility technologies transfer.
•    14 leaflets, eight bulletins, three technical reports and one FFS training manual published.
