Kabete: Priscilla Muthoni Muta

Muthoni Muta is a Research Officer in the Socioeconomics and Applied Statistics Programme since 2004. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and literature and a Masters in Business Administration in marketing. She has conducted various studies on impact assessments (ex-ante and post-ante), adoption, monitoring and evaluation and marketing. Her unique skill in public relations has positioned her as the Centre Liaison Officer since 2005 and also the Centre Outreach and Partnership Officer. She has also been the centre project coordinator for agricultural, technology and information response initiative (ATIRI)β€”an approach/initiative that was used by KARI to make farmers demand technology and information (a paradigm shift from supply-demand to demand-supply). She has demonstrated the ability to handle tight schedule projects and build strong relations both as a team leader and team member. She has demonstrated the ability for  teamwork and is open-minded and an expressive individual of admirable character. She has published papers in conference/workshop proceedings and technical reports.
