Boon for farmers as Kari lands partnership with Korean firm

The Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (Kari) has entered into a strategic a partnership with the Republic of South Korea to help boost food security in the country.

In the new partnership, Kari intends to borrow advanced technologies from South Korea to help local farmers add value to their produce and save time on harvest.

"We are going to work closely with the Korea Project on International Agriculture to help us in areas like value addition to our local produce," said Kenya Agricultural Research Institute Director, Ephraim Mukisira.
