Ali Ramadhan

Worked as a range ecologist; carrying out range management research at National Range Research Centre Makindu Between 1977 and 1989 and as forage agronomist when I later joined Regional Research Centre Mtwapa. Between 1981 and 1984, Worked for my BSc and MSc research programme in range science. Between 1985 and 1988, I collaborated with Tsavo Savannah Project. Between 1989 to1995, I carried out forage agronomy work supported by KARI ILRI project (formerly ILCA). I was involved in research based on on-farm testing of proven forage species between 1996 and 200I. At the same time, I carried on-farm work on fodder production technology transfer through grants received from ASARECA. I’m currently carrying out small ruminant research work based on the development of appropriate feeds and appropriate technologies.  I am also involved in carrying out work on on-farm on up scaling fodder production technologies in coastal Kenya.
